Sophie brings a depth of experience and dedication to every project and is an integral part of the leadership team at DunnHillam. Sophie joined DunnHillam in 2015 as a graduate and has developed an expertise working on heritage adaptive re-use projects for community and arts-based clients as well as sustainable new build projects for private clients.

Sophie lead the delivery of the Gunnery Transformation, a contemporary gallery in a State Heritage Listed building in Woolloomooloo. Whilst at DunnHillam Sophie has been part of the team that delivered Gilgandra Library, Macaria Art Gallery, City Recital Hall, and Sydney Dance Company Studios.  

In 2018-2021, Sophie took a sabbatical from DunnHillam to work in London at Manalo & White Architects delivering heritage galleries, arts centres, and hotel projects.

Sophie is a member of the Built Environment and Emerging Architects (EmAGN) committees of the Australian Institute of Architects. She is passionate about advocacy and has taught design studios, history, theory, and structures at both the University of Sydney and the University of NSW.  

Outside of her architectural practice, Sophie enjoys swing dancing, wood working, and hunting for vintage furniture.
