This project in the inner west of Sydney was to renovate and extend a small terrace house. The clients desired a clean, empty space that was reminiscent of a gallery. The design was centred on a roof light that drew diffused light in to the rear of this dark property and provided a sculptural form around which the new room could be organised. The internal cladding was designed as a panel system that could be rearranged in order to house different artworks.
