Jackson is a registered architect with experience across, masterplanning, public, and small to medium scale affordable housing projects. He applies the same level of care and enthusiasm to projects of all scales and budgets. Jackson is a talented designer and is developing expertise in Social and Affordable Housing. To date he has successfully delivered full services for the alterations and additions the the Cobar Youth + Community Centre; masterplanning, design, and documentation of the Cobar’s Ward Oval Pavilion; and design services for two affordable housing projects on the south coast of NSW.  

Jackson has worked for multiple award winning architectural offices prior to his time at DunnHillam. Key projects include; design and documentation services for Shopfront Youth Theatre for Youth Performance + Art at Stephen Collier Architects; and contribution to the winning competition entry for a pencil tower in Pitt St at Durbach Block Jaggers Architects.  

Having completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Australian History and Philosophy in 2013, Jackson has since focused on Architectural history and theory, tutoring at The University of Sydney. He has also written articles for Architecture & Design on Australian modernism. 

As you will know if you have asked him, and most likely even if you haven’t, Jackson is from Orange. Growing up on a farm near Mt Canobolas, Jackson spends much of his time returning to help run the farm, as well as designing and making furniture.
